Tera Leading Into the Future

In the past, TERA hasn’t been on too good of a roll with getting out new updates. Even when we know of things that are coming up, when it will happen is anyone’s guess. We pretty much have to just sit back and wait it out in the hopes that, at some point, we get the updates we’ve heard about elsewhere. To me, the biggest thing En Masse could do to help better understand what’s going on is to simply be transparent. Rather than waiting until a day or two before the patches are released, let us know what’s going on. What is in the works. Maybe even in-progress images or something and an estimated release date. A lot of games these days have test servers, and while they are great for testing bugs, they also give the benefit of knowing what is going on with the games prior to the updates being released.

I also have hopes that we will see some sort of world evolution. Rather than playing in the same areas time after time (excluding dungeons), adding new zones could go a long way. This could then include things like new quest lines and mobs, giving a fresh new experience again where we can learn the new content, learn new mechanics to mob types, etc. Not to mention the change of scenery itself would be of a great benefit just because it lets us see something different.
