Human Female Model Not Feminine Enough

Have you ever noticed how the human female’s in heavy armor look weird?

I couldn’t quite put my finger on it but it kept coming back to the waist area.

They just didn’t look female they looked amorphous. I narrowed this feeling down to the hip to waist ratio of the female model used in this game.

For those that don’t know the hip to waist ratio is something that distinguishes the female form from male or pre-pubescent girls. Its one of those triggers that tells people that this is a mature women. Since I assume EnMasse is trying to portray a mature women here the Ideal hip to waist ratio is 0.7 or lower. Marilin monroe had a hip to waist ratio of 0.64 . While a mature man might have a hip to waist ratio of 0.9 .

So I took a few screenshots and confirmed that the female model used in Tera has a hip to waist ratio of 0.7636 . Also the narrow portion of the waist is well above the navel rather than at the navel. It causes the human women in this game to look boyish and just unattractive.

Please fix this so I can stop being weird-ed out by boyish looking women in chain mail bikinis.

Maybe it’s just the heavy armor, but they look fine in robes. My only complaint is that there are no ‘flowing’ robes. Everything looks like pants.

In fact if you look here: You can see that the human female proportions are actually more pronounced than the High Elf, it’s just the way they’re standing that makes them look more ‘slinky’. If anything, it’s not a proportion problem, but just the bulk of the heavy armor, which I think is okay for human female… I mean there needs to be at least one race with semi-realistic armor.

But you know what would solve this and make everyone happy?
