WoW’s item store?

Yep, still the worst visuals ever

The World of Warcraft item store is a thing now, of course, but what exactly can one purchase in said store? Blizzard answers that question with a new dev blog that mentions pets, cosmetic odds and ends, and even a seesaw. There’s also an Iron Hitching Post that allows you and up to 24 of your friends to charge into raids, battlegrounds, or even small party content on a “unified front of ghost horses.”

Blizzard declines to offer any sort of release date for these items other than to say that players can expect to see them in the “near future.”

They added more functionality to the game, why all the negatives? The more I read WoW players comments the more I am convinced they act like a baby in a womb, who for whatever reason refuses to leave because it’s so comfy where they are now. Things change, games move on to new features, new ideas… and here’s a news flash to all WoW players, there are ‘other’ games out there, really, you don’t have to measure all your gaming by WoW, other games have in-games stores, other games have had them for ages.

There is a certain power you perceive in playing WoW and having a set of toons that you’ve cultivated over the years, the thought of moving to a new game or new players scares the hell out of you… cause you won’t be the game God you believe you have earned in WoW, you won’t be the pillar of knowledge, lore and game trivia now part of your gaming ego. Anything that threatens this comfy zone of your gaming ego is bad, a new store.. BAD, cause it *looks* like those other games you don’t play, those games you trash, insult and scoff at in the past and even now… so scary to lose that power eh? Yep.

I loved WoW, I moved on, I gave up the power to have FUN, try it, you might like it.Please click on the more WOW service: honor points powerleveling.
