Treeshark has released a producer’s letter for this month, talking about the past and
the future. There is a lot of great information here, so I’d like to cover some of
it.
Sieges. Could it be? Based on a statement he made, “You can ride a blimp to sneakily
invade a castle, or you can fire cannons at your enemy,” it would appear so! This is
set to be a 20 v 20 battleground.
Shorter update timeframes. A big thing EME is working on right now is decreasing the
time between kTERA’s updates and our own. Treeshark states that we’ll get more
information on that later.
A raid. A raid (the first?) is set to come to us in the middle of this month. This
will be Kelsaik, which likely corresponds to the Kelsaik’s Sanctuary teaser we got
earlier this year.
Some of these stats are pretty amazing! It’s interesting to see that Sorcerer is the
most killed in PvP, while they aren’t the most popular class (with 13.80% of the
players picking it, about halfway between most and least popular). Also pretty
surprising is that the most gold held by anyone is 2.2 million, although this will
continue to climb!
